  1. I have always been a believer o Lao Tzu’s philosophy. One of his most inspirational leadership quotes, “When I Let Go Of What I Am, I Become What I Might Be” is something that leadership success mentors and practitioners always adhere to. This is a great collection of quotes for aspiring leaders today.

As the saying goes, a great leader should also be a great follower. You’re responsibility is to make your team member go to work and enjoy work as well. Keep it fun and number one leadership qualities.

    1. People learn when they are enjoying what they do. I do not agree that a great leader is a great follower. Leaders need to be able to listen to people’s needs, perhaps that is what you mean.

  5. This might come off weird but I disagree with LAO TZU. In one of his many Inspirational leadership quotes, I mean if I let go of who I am ir the reason why am I here then everything that I worked for would be useless? I mean there is also a saying that says Know yourself. Being one with yourself will lead to greater things. Still good quotes though.

    1. Ok. What letting go means in the traditional sense is that we hold onto “stuff” that keeps us from achieving greatness. When you let go of these kind of negative beliefs etc you allow your true self to shine thru. That is what that means. Also too, when you let go and let God you open up to attracting more into your life.

A leader is not born, he can have qualities of a somewhat innate leader, but during his process he develops many more skills, such as public speaking and the ability to turn the vision into reality and, above all, to help people find their true passion or focus.

    1. I disagree. I subscribe to the theory that leadership is an innate quality, like being born a true tennis athlete, or a basketball player. There are extra skills a leader can then acquire after that time. However, “real” leadership, for me, is an innate skill, just as being a salesman.

  7. Marlyn Culunge

I agree with the importance of attitude when it come to leadership. Your success as a leader depends on your attitude on how to handle things.

    1. There are many essential skills that a leader will need to successfully lead a team or an organisation. Having a good attitude would be just one of those necessary skills.

  8. I totally agree with this leadership success quotes“When I let go of what I am
I become what I might be.” . This is a fact.

  9. I have always believed in speaking a word. Speaking a word to people’s life to motivate them, for them to see the possibilities in any impossibility. Some are born leaders others acquire leadership qualities. The ultimate aim is to know how to perform as a leader.
